I had a day in London today. Got the 630 train down, and enjoyed watching the sun rise over the North Yorkshire Moors. I jogged from Kings Cross to St. Thomas' (about 3 miles I reckon), a nice route via Hunter Street, Russell Square, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall, Big Ben, Westminster Bridge. It was a nice morning for it.
This picture is the plaque outside our medical school, where we spent 1977 - 1979 (1978-1980 for Moira), before we did our clinical training at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead.
Libby had a birthday party to go to yesteday at her friend Eva, from her dancing club. Moira dropped her off at Eva's grandparent's house, and she stayed there quite happily without Moira being there for an hour and a half!
My beautiful princess Libby ready for her party!
Daniel was a great help in the kitchen yesterday and today. He helped with making and putting out the chilli yesterday, and with the Sunday lunch today.
Busy man in the kitchen. Thanks Daniel!
This evening we went round to Alice's. She hasn't been feeling very well recently and felt like handing out a few notes this evening, much to Daniel & Libby's delight! Libby asked how much there was in the envelope. It didn't take Daniel long to work it out :)
